Title: Technical Sales Representative
Department: CiDRA Chemical Management
Position Summary:
The Technical Sales Representative will be responsible for Sales Growth and Business Development for Pulp & Paper Accounts in Louisiana, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Texas.
Territory:
- Pulp and Paper Industry
- Louisiana, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Texas Geography
- In addition: travel through out the US will be required at times to provide Technical support for other Team opportunities.
Responsibilities & Qualifications:
- Possess high energy and the drive to succeed.
- New account generation to expand territory development
- Position requires ability to provide value added service in partnership with the customer’s engineering staff
- Available to be on call 24/7 to address customer problems
- Develop and maintain high-level customer relationships, understanding their competitive strategies and issues
- Able to articulate and deliver high level customer and team presentations, solution demonstrations, review of technical proposals and specifications, and implement sales and marketing strategies
- Possess strong technical skills for the application of leading technology in highly complex sales
- Must be motivated to have an impact on our Customers and our Company
Education/Experience:
- Four year Engineering\Technical Degree and/or pertinent industry process understanding
- Minimum of 10 years industry sales experience or plant engineering
- Excellent Sales Skills (verbal and written communications, and proven negotiation techniques), an outgoing personality, interest in being a team player, and a strong desire to sell
- Product roll-out and sales ramp up experience with a demonstrated capability for identifying new customers and breaking new territory through aggressive and innovative missionary selling
