Title: International Sales and Customer Support Specialist – Minerals Processing Instrumentation       

Department: Minerals Processing

Position Summary: 

Provide business development, marketing, and sales support for the minerals processing group.  Work closely with the sales staff of the minerals processing group, regional representatives, and customers world-wide to continue the sales growth of CiDRA’s unique instrumentation products and services.

Education/Skills:

  • Candidate must be bilingual (English - Spanish), with a strong preference on being trilingual (English, Spanish and French) including excellent verbal and written skills
  • Associates Degree required. Bachelors Degree preferred.
  • Must be proficient with a computer and software such as Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
  • Candidate must demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills.  Preferred broad knowledge of fluid mechanics, flow measurement principles, instrumentation, and/or minerals processing.
  • Must have the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Must be able to operate independently and be self-motivated.

Responsibilities:

  • In close coordination with CiDRA headquarters, CiDRA’s regional sales organizations, and local independent sales reps, perform marketing, sales, service activities, and after sales technical and business support to customers in the mining industry.
  • Interact with international customers, local independent sales representatives and CiDRA’s inside sales, minerals processing external sales, and manufacturing departments to coordinate orders, shipments, and instrumentation installations
  • In close coordination with the minerals processing team, create marketing and technical material in English and Spanish, and preferably French.
  • Work with regional sales organizations on after sales technical and business support
  • Attend regional trade shows to exhibit CiDRA products.
  • Translate customer inquiries, technical documents, quotes and other correspondence.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of minerals processing industry, processes, and customers.
  • Develop expertise in CiDRA products and their application in the markets/industries that we serve.  Use this expertise and knowledge of the customer’s processes and applications to ensure that CiDRA’s products are going to function well in that application.
  • Train customers on the installation and use of CiDRA’s process monitoring instrumentation at CiDRA’s office in Wallingford, Connecticut or at customer sites in Central America, South America, and Canada.
  • Achieve prompt, mutually satisfactory solutions to customer complaints and problems.
